The Montreal-based singer-songwriter specializes in lilting, jazzy compositions heavy on piano, stand-up bass, and light on percussion. The video not only highlights Iyer’s voice and the group’s expert-level musicianship, it is also effected with chill animation. Fans of Norah Jones, Regina Spektor, or Adele would dig Thanya’s tunes.
