Scottish legends We Were Promised Jetpacks have been crafting iconic indie rock since 2009. They’re still cranking out excellent music, case in point, the epic flavor of “If It Happens.” Exploring a more introspective sound, WWPJ have stepped away from jaunty, guitar ragers and into a reverb-soaked atmosphere… But that’s not to say they’ve lost any energy! “Happens” is washy and beautiful, eventually building into an explosive ending.
