Atlanta solo-act Orchid Mantis is back with more heartbreaking bedroom lo-fi jams with “Can’t See The Sun Anymore.” Guitar-based at heart, this one uses a heavily-filtered drum sound to add to its icy coldness to great effect. Full of washy reverb textures, warbly riffing, and layers of various drones, this would fit comfortably on a shelf next to Wild Nothing, DIIV, or even The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.
