Fly Felix is the songwriting project of producer/singer/songwriter Drew Tyler; we’ve been digging the synth-tinged indie rock of his latest offering, “Warm Blood.” Inspired by a writing retreat in Sedona, AZ (but eventually recorded in Los Angeles), Tyler and keyboardist and composer Eric McDermott joined forces to create the fuzzed-out creation you hear today. On our end, we’ve been loving “Warm Blood” for its dreamy take on radio-ready rock vibes – think Foo Fighters or Weezer meets shoegaze.
