Beach Vacation started as many bands do – a dope collective of musicians gathering to play a high school talent show. Perhaps unsurprisingly, they ended up getting international attention (at the young ages of 16/17 nonetheless). Maybe that’s why we dig “I Fell Apart” so much – it sounds like the work of a veteran act, but actually comes from a group of wunderkinds. It’s a dreamy, swirly, and lo-fi jam, excellent in its simplicity, just how we like it. FFO: DIIV, Slowdive, or Wild Nothing.
