Registration is now open for the fall installment of the Elmwood Village Association’s Buffalo Porchfest, set to go down on Saturday, October 3rd. For those new to bi-annual festival, the concept is pretty simple: a band or bands play on an assigned porch somewhere in the Elmwood Village, while people mosey the neighborhood to catch sets of their choice. Music normally runs from 12pm to 5pm and weather permitting, its a pretty fun excuse to kill an afternoon by roaming around the village and slightly beyond. Sadly, last year’s weather did not cooperate, forcing some porch hosts to resort to other measures to keep their show going…

Porchfest organizers are currently accepting registration applications from porch owners, bands, and/or volunteers. If you wish to be any of the above, you can sign up here. Registration closes on September 14th.
