“Get My Way” by Oregon act Aunt Daddy is frantic, but sweet. It has subtly surfy vibes, with tinges of emo and alt-country. “How is that possible,” you might ask (don’t worry, we’ll tell you). In most cases, it’s best just to listen for yourself… But between the charming vocal delivery, neurotically breakneck drumming, and the yawning slide-y guitar flourishes, Aunt Daddy has really nailed an excellent juxtaposition of genres and mashed them all into an endearing bedroom-production package.
