Roanoke, Virginia is not exactly the first city that springs to mind when discussing “rock and roll cities.” Then again, Roanoke’s Eternal Summers are not your typical rock and roll band. The band has been quietly building up a big audience over the last four years; they’ve released just as many full-length records and their latest is their best to date. The group recently made that little band leap from a two to a three piece, adding bassist Jonathan Woods. The addition has expanded their sound tremendously, taking the low-end pressure off guitarist Nicole Yun and allowing her to really spread her trebly wings. The band will be at Buffalo’s Soundlab tonight, most likely highlighting tracks from their latest, Correct Behavior. Doors at 8 pm.
