Those looking for a different kind of music show after the Sabres game this afternoon(hopefully a Sabres win) should take a drive down to Hamburg tonight for the Freedy Johnson House Concert. Marty Boratin and Susan Tanner, who were recently featured in The Recollective's Sounds & Echoes "Rock n Rock Hotel" piece, are once again opening up their home to musicians for an evening of music. The couple have been involved in the music biz for years and a few years ago began hosting out of town acts in their south town home. Tonight's musical guest, Kansas born Freedy Johnson, began releasing music in 1992 and has become known for his gifted lyrics. Also playing tonight is folk rock singer Bryan Wheat. Those who are not planning on doing Easter dinner can head down earlier for a pot luck cook out at 4:00pm. The show is set to begin at 7:00pm. Marty and Susan's home is located at 7341 Nelson Drive in Hamburg. There is a suggested donation of $15.
