Tonight: Trimania

The Buffalo Arts Studio will be presenting the 4th annual Trimania event this evening at the Tri Main Center.  One of the main beneficiaries of tonight's event will be the Himalayan Institute working to provide local water sources in African villages.

The three floored event will feature a wide array of musicians, performance artists, dancers, and art exhibits.  Among the acts playing tonight are Gypsy Jazz ensemble Babik, the ragtime minstrels from Reverend Soapbox & The Rabble Rousers, reggae rockers Neville Francis and the Riddim Posse, and fresh off playing an incredible set at our birthday party last night, the buffaBLOG approved indie trio The Tins.

The event will feature a cash bar and food courts.  Those who are looking to take full advantage of the bar tonight, or who just do not want to drive, will be happy to know that Trimania will offer shuttle buses to and from the Buffalo Zoo,Canisius College, First Niagara Bank, and LPCiminelli.

As of today, tickets has still been available presale for $25 at Rust Belt Books, Record Theatre, Talking Leaves, WNY Book Arts Center, and at the Buffalo Arts Studio.  Tickets will also be available at the door.  Trimania will take place tonight from 7:00pm - 11:00pm at the Buffalo Arts Studio at 2495 Main Street.

  1. If you hadn't heard the news, Toronto's Sadies had to bow out of Trimania due to guitarist Dallas Good's broken leg.
Filling in will be Peterborough's Weber Brothers: www.weberbrothers.com
