If you've never seen those sidewalk busking troubadours Rev. Soapbox and the Rabble Rousers, tonight at Mohawk Place will be your last chance. At least for a month or two that is. The band will be taking a break to write some new material and rest those heavy bones before they return to the scene around St Patrick's Day. For those unfamiliar, Rev. Soapbox are the kind of band you would expect to see in New Orleans. The quartet uses an acoustic guitar, a mandolin, a trumpet, and a stand up bass for a bopping sound that easy to snap your fingers to. Joining them tonight are the bluesy ska band The Poor Boys and folk rockers Big Classic. Its a 5 dollar cover and doors open at 8. See you there.
