About a month ago, we stumbled upon Gagan Singh, a local college student who has been making music as a hobby for some time now. We gave his stuff a listen and were impressed. Mostly acoustic based songs turn layered and dense while backing Gagan's introspective lyrics His hushed vocals shine on the slow building "Extraction", and songs like "Living Woes" and "What?" show a Death Cab for Cutie like influence breaking through. Although he has no current shows lined up, we look forward to hearing more from Gagan in the future. Check out more of his music here and here
